Dr. Schulman maintains three Board Certifications: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Medical Acupuncture. He is one of a small number of physicians who are certified by the American Herbalist Guild as a Registered Herbalist. In addition, he is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine.

What you can expect on your visit
Your first appointment with Dr. Schulman will typically consist of a full hour face-to-face history and physical examination.
Treatments are typically rendered during follow-up visits and are either a half hour or a full hour in duration. All treatments are given solely by Dr. Schulman in a private, quiet room.
Blood tests or diagnostic studies may be requested by the doctor as indicated. Medication and/or herbs and supplements may be prescribed or dispensed on the day of the first appointment.
